Winter Camp

Hello Girls!
I am getting excited about our winter camp and I wanted to pass on some more information that Sarah and I have thought of. Here are some additions to your original list of things to bring:
1. A fold up chair
2. Skates, if you have them (we found a box of skates in the camp shed, so don't worry if you don't have a pair)
3. Cards or Board Games

I know that for some of us this camp is out of our comfort zone. I've never camped outside in the winter! But, I also know that it can be a really great experience if we have the right attitudes. We will have a motorhome there for emergencies and we will make sure that none of you freeze to death. :-) I promise!
Here's a link to an online camp manual where you can look at tips for sleeping in cold weather, etc. as well as a permission slip for those that didn't get it on Sunday. (the permission slips are under the Pre-camp orientation section for leaders) As well, I will put some links to websites with ideas for winter camping.
Let me know if you have any questions!!

This Week at Mutual

This week for mutual we are meeting at the school for training on Family Search. We need each of you to bring your Membership Number, your Confirmation Date, as well as a Pedigree Chart filled out with as much information as you can about your ancestors.

I've included a copy of a sample pedigree chart that you can print and try to fill in.

Don't forget that we are meeting at the school at 7pm. See you all there!

WELCOME!

I have been thinking of starting a blog for our Young Women's group for some time now...and I finally decided to do it. This will be a place where I will document the fun activities we have, what events are coming up, what Personal Progress goals we are working on as a group, as well as fun things about our beautiful Young Women.

I'm excited to see what I can do with this blog...so please let me know if you have any suggestions!

Bye for now!
